Compass World LLC operates as an independent travel facilitation platform and is not affiliated with the Government of the United Kingdom. Travelers may apply for their UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) directly through the official UK Government website without using our platform or paying any service-related fees.

At Compass World LLC, we are committed to maintaining transparent, fair, and accessible service terms for all users of our UK ETA application support platform at AlvaVisa.com. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which cancellations and refunds may be considered.


1. Service Summary

By submitting a payment through our website, you acknowledge that Compass World LLC provides an optional, fee-based digital service designed to assist with the preparation and submission of UK ETA applications. We are not affiliated with the Government of the United Kingdom, and travelers always have the choice to apply directly through the official UK Government website without using our platform or paying our service fees.

Because our services begin immediately upon order confirmation and involve customized application review and digital facilitation, they are classified as a personalized digital product. As a result, conventional consumer cancellation protections may not apply once service fulfillment has started.


2. What the Service Fee Includes

The total price displayed at checkout includes both the mandatory UK Government ETA application charge and our separate service processing fee. This full amount is disclosed transparently prior to payment.

Our processing fee covers the following value-added services:

  • Personalized, step-by-step application guidance

  • Review and correction of submitted personal and travel data

  • Intelligent document scanning and interpretation

  • Secure electronic transmission of the application

  • Delivery of email confirmations, updates, and status notifications

  • Ongoing access to customer support

Unless otherwise stated, all fees are listed in United States Dollars (USD). Payment transactions are handled exclusively through secure, PCI-compliant third-party providers. We do not store or transmit cardholder data on our servers.


3. Refund Eligibility Criteria

A full refund (100% of the total order value) may be issued if your ETA application has not yet been transmitted to UK authorities. Refund requests must be submitted within 90 calendar days of the original purchase date.

To request a refund, please email support@alvavisa.com with the following details:

  • Full name used on the order

  • Application or transaction reference number

  • Date of purchase

  • Brief explanation of the reason for your request

Important: Once your application has been submitted to the UK Government, the service is considered fulfilled and the payment is final.

Refund requests are typically reviewed within three (3) business days. If approved, refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Any foreign exchange differences, international transfer costs, or card provider charges remain the responsibility of the customer.


4. Dispute Resolution and Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact our support team before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider. If a chargeback is filed, Compass World LLC reserves the right to present documentation showing that services were delivered in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.


5. Confirmation of Refunds or Cancellations

All requests for cancellation or refund will be acknowledged and confirmed by email. Requests received during regular business hours are normally addressed the same day; if received outside business hours, they will be addressed the next working day.


6. Processing Timeframes

We aim to review and transmit completed ETA applications within 24 hours of receiving both the required information and payment. However, processing times may be affected by factors such as:

  • Application volume

  • Completeness and accuracy of submitted data

  • Temporary system outages or technical interruptions

We are not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by UK Government processing

  • Disruptions to travel plans arising from external factors

  • Natural disasters, force majeure events, or global system outages beyond our control

Important: If you are traveling within 48 hours, we recommend applying directly through the official UK Government portal.
