Compass World LLC operates as an independent travel facilitation platform and is not affiliated with the Government of Canada. Travelers may apply for their Canada Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) directly through the official Government of Canada website without using our platform or paying any service-related fees.

At Compass World LLC, we are committed to providing transparent, fair, and accessible service terms for every user of our Canada eTA application support platform at AlvaVisa.com. This Refund & Cancellation Policy sets out the circumstances under which cancellations and refunds may be requested and processed.
1. Service Summary
By completing a payment through our website, you acknowledge that Compass World LLC offers an optional, fee-based online service to assist with the preparation and submission of Canada eTA applications. We are not affiliated with the Government of Canada, and all travelers may apply directly through the official Government of Canada website without using our platform or paying our service-related fees.
Because services begin immediately after an order is confirmed and involve customized review and digital preparation, our offering is classified as a personalized digital product. As such, traditional cancellation protections under consumer law may not always apply once fulfillment has begun.
2. What the Service Fee Includes
The total amount displayed at checkout includes both the mandatory Government of Canada eTA application charge and our distinct service processing fee. All charges are disclosed clearly before payment is submitted.

Unless otherwise stated, all fees are quoted in United States Dollars (USD). Payment processing is handled exclusively through PCI-compliant, third-party providers. We do not store, handle, or transmit cardholder data on our servers.
3. Refund Eligibility Criteria
A full refund of 100 percent of the total order value may be granted if your Canada eTA application has not yet been transmitted to Canadian authorities. All refund requests must be submitted within 90 calendar days of the original purchase.

Important: Once your application has been transmitted to the Government of Canada, the service is deemed fulfilled and the payment becomes final.
Refund requests are reviewed within three (3) business days. If approved, reimbursement will be issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Please note that foreign exchange costs, international transfer fees, or bank-related charges remain the responsibility of the customer.
4. Dispute Resolution and Chargebacks
We encourage customers to contact our support team directly before initiating a chargeback with their bank or payment provider. If a chargeback is filed, Compass World LLC reserves the right to provide documentation that demonstrates services were delivered in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
5. Confirmation of Refunds or Cancellations
Every refund or cancellation request is acknowledged by email. Requests received during standard business hours are typically addressed the same day. Requests received outside of business hours are reviewed on the next business day.
6. Processing Timeframes
We strive to review and transmit completed Canada eTA applications within 24 hours of receiving both your details and your payment. Actual timelines, however, may vary due to:

Temporary system interruptions or technical issues
Compass World LLC is not responsible for:

Delays resulting from Canadian government processing

Travel disruptions arising from third-party or external causes

Events outside our control, including force majeure situations such as natural disasters or widespread system outages
Important: If you are scheduled to depart within 48 hours, we recommend applying directly through the official Government of Canada portal.
